Debt Recovery Intake Form

Use this form to give us the facts needed to prepare a Korean-language demand letter (naeyong jeungmyeong) or a payment order application. Attorney Doyun Lee reviews what you submit and replies by email with an assessment and a quote.

  • Submitting this form is not a retainer and does not create an attorney-client engagement.
  • The attorney reviews your submission and replies with a quote. Nothing is sent to the debtor, and no court filing is made, until you approve and sign a retainer.
  • Please do not attach files. Describe your documents below; we will tell you how to send them after the first review.

About the debtor

Debtor is a(n)

A payment order requires that the debtor is actually served in Korea. If no Korean address is known, the route may change (for example, to an ordinary lawsuit). Tell us what you know.

About the claim

Who agreed what, when, and what has happened since. Plain English is fine.

Evidence you have
Does the debtor dispute the debt?

What would you like us to do? *

If the debtor disputes the claim or objects to the payment order, the case becomes an ordinary lawsuit (civil first instance KRW 5,500,000~8,800,000), which is a separate engagement. Court fees, postage and translation costs are extra.
